RSD Academy Girls Degree College, Moradabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

RSD Academy Girls Degree College is an affiliated college established in the year 2016 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. This is a women-only university located in a 6-acre land and provides undergraduate and diploma studies. The college has an association with quality education and is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). However, RSD Academy, with the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education, trains teachers alongside other academic disciplines. The college is currently instituted with a student population of 195 and faculty of 16 in order to ensure a good student-teacher ratio for effective teaching. 

The college has various state-of-the-art facilities to support learning and development of the students in their college experience. Ample number of laboratories are equipped with modern facilities for practical exposure of students of all disciplines of study. It also provides facilities such as a cafeteria, which is student-friendly and offers a variety of foods to ensure they are fed from college, a medical centre, which also handles medical aspects of the students, and transportation facilities within a 10-kilometre radius of Moradabad. 

It has four full-time programmes in various disciplines for girls in RSD Academy Girls Degree College. They include, but are not limited to, a bachelor of education (B.ED), a bachelor of commerce (Hons), and a diploma in elementary education (D.EL.ED). The B.Ed. programme which is the flagship course, has an approved strength of 100 students, and the B.Com. (Honours) programme also has a strength of 60 students. The college has a special focus on teacher education, as 2 out of 3 programs offered by it suggest. Although the number of graduates is not clearly named, the total number of students across all courses is 195, making the institution’s size increment in the size of an academic community. 

Admission schedule of RSD Academy Girls Degree College differs depending on the course of study. In the case of the B.Ed. course, the candidates have to pass the entrance exam for the B.Ed. course as they have to according to rules of the university.
