Sivaganga preethi B.Ed college was started in the year 2008 is one of the B.ed colleges in sivaganga and it is a teacher training college located in the district of sivaganga in Tamilnadu. Located on a quiet 25 acre campus, the college provides the ideal atmosphere for students who wish to enter the field of education. NCTE recognised and having NC, S. Preethi B.Ed. College has set forth the vision to build the future of education. About 300 students are admitted in this college besides having a total of twenty two faculty members and this makes it easy for the college to provide each student with personal attention as well as quality education.

Our college S. Preethi B.Ed. College provides the complete solutions for all levels of teacher education needs. The institution provides three full-time courses: B.El.ED/B.Ed, M.ED and Diploma in Elementary Education/D.El.ED. The above courses are meant to prepare students for teaching profession by imparting to them necessary knowledge, skills, and per 652 operative experience. Approved intake capacity of the college is two hundred students for all courses showing the college’s intention to uphold high education standards as it opens its admission door to accommodate the increasing need of qualified teachers.

S. Preethi B.Ed. College has the traditional policy of merit based admissions which shows that the college provides much emphasis on academics. With regards to B.Ed programme, the admission is as per the marks in qualifying exam and/ or entrance test as per GO & UT administration norms, policy and procedures of the university. Admissions to the M.Ed. programme are also merit based in the qualifying examination, entrance examination or any other mode as prescribed by the government and the university. The D.El.Ed. programme also offers merit base admission criteria based on the marks of the qualifying examination and or entrance test as per the rules of the state government and the UT administration.
