Saffron College, Fatehgarh Sahib: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Saffron College is an affiliated college that came into existence in 2011 nad is located in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. Located on a 3.2 acre plot, this is an all women’s university that is well equipped to provide undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At present, Saffron College has 261 students and 18 teachers and professors, therefore the college offers a personal atmosphere. It provides only 8 courses under 7 degree programmes in specialisation of Arts, Commerce, Computer Applications, Business Administration, Home Science and Fashion Technology.

There is a well stocked library at Saffron College which is referred to as the temple of knowledge and contains books, magazines, journals and newspapers. For sports enthusiasts, there are athletic complex with basketball ground, badminton hall, table tennis hall, and volleyball court on the college fields. Some of the facilities in the IT infrastructure include air conditioned, computerised laboratory with internet connection so as to prepare the students to face challenges of internet age. The student’s cafeteria is clean and serves the requirements of their meals, college owns buses for commuting students from other areas as well for safe transit. 

Saffron College has a total of 8 courses on offer and these are all full time courses. They have 7 undergraduate programmes and 1 postgraduate programme in offer with an intention to fulfill the academic interests of students. The college has a total student intake across all the courses which is 450 and the current enrolment is 261. The courses offered are BA, B.Com, BCA, B.Com Hons, B.Sc Home Science, , and so on. B.Sc Fashion Technology
