Sagarpara T.T.I. is one of the premier educational institutes in Murshidabad, West Bengal, working with the sole intention of shaping future teachers. This co-educational institute was started in 2012 and is engaged in moulding the minds of students who seek to become teachers for more than a decade. The institute occupies a compact area of 1.53 acres, with a congestion-free learning environment and 389 students on board. The Sagarpara Teachers Training Institute is well supported by a faculty of 32 experienced teachers, thus maintaining an excellent student-to-teacher ratio that assures personal attention and quality education.

Each course has an approved intake of 100 students in the programme; hence, there are a total of 200 seats for both courses. Both the programmes are very structured and balance theoretical knowledge with practical exposure to render graduates into competent professionals at the work front of education.

The admission process in the institute is fair and absolutely merit-based. Admission to the B.Ed course is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination, as per the state government's policy and that of the university.
