Sahaspur College, Jajpur, an affiliated college situated in Balichandrapur, Odisha, was established in the year 1978. This university provides numerous and various undergraduate courses under arts and sciencesdivision. Located on a well a sizable area of 10 acres, the college offers learning to 1,048 students with the assistance of 27 membered faculty. Sahaspur College is focused on the quality of the education provided and at the moment offers 16 courses as a part of 4 programmes aimed at the disciplines such as Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, English, Economics, Political Science etc.

Spread over the classes streams, Sahaspur College provides the total of 16 undergraduate courses where all are full time. The college offer both general and honors’ degrees in arts and sciences. In the sciences stream, the pass course will allow students to acquire a B.Sc degree with honours in Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology. The arts stream has honours degree in BA in English, Education, Economics, Odia, History, Political Science, and Sociology. The overall approved intakes for all the programmes together is 1,734 seats, out of these the largest chunk, 1098 seats has been approved for the general BA programme.
