Sahayog Sevabhavi Sanstha's College of Education, Nanded: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Sahayog Sevabhavi Sanstha’s College of Education and Nanded, which was started in the year of 2004 the college is one of the well –known institutions that are serving the educational society for the future generation. This co-educational college is an affiliated college, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) located at Vishnupuri, Nanded, Maharashtra. Situated on a tiny 1.5 acre plot, this college provides quality education without the distractions to prospective teachers. Total number of students are 203 and 17 faculty members which make the institute able to provided focused attention and quality education. 

Sahayog Sevabhavi Sanstha’s College offers three teaching subject programmes in education focussing on different dimensions of trainers learning and training. This college features many amenities that are meant to complement learning and personal development for learners in the institution. An equipped library is a knowledge centre or a store house or important resources that are required for studying and research purposes. Through the college facility sports ,students are encouraged to improve on their fitness as well as problem solving as per their teams. Different seminars and other events are held in an auditorium, thus stimulating the academic life of the school. The institution also has well equipped practical laboratories to enhance acquisition of practical experiments. In the interest of safety and welfare of the student’ body a hospital that offers first aid, is situated within the institution. The college is well equipped with adequate and up to date technological facilities in its IT department. A cafeteria is common to students and members of staff as a place where they can rest as well as interact. For visitors there is guest house and waiting room.The integrated result of the constructing is shown below in the figure 4. 

It also has easily accessible parking space for students, workers and visitors to the campus. For instance, the Training and Placement Cell is vital for the co-ordination of recruitment exercise/information, and campus interviews among students who are graduating. Sahayog Sevabhavi Sanstha’s College of Education offers a sum total of three courses out of which all are full time courses related to the teacher education but they are designed differently as: Te B.Ed has an intake capacity of 100 and the M.Ed has an intake capacity of 50. Indeed, the college also offers a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme though the number of intakes for this programme is unclear. Scaled up, all programmes enables total enrolment of two hundred and three student performance, which has been optimally balanced to ensure a favourable student teacher ratio in the institute. 

This college for Sahayog Sevabhavi Sanstha follows the merit system for the admission process including the marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The kind of selection process maintained in the school conforms to the state government of Maharashtra and the university to which the school is affiliated to. Student admission in B. Ed programme is conducted as per candidates’ performance in last qualitative examination / entrance examination as per the norms of the State & University. Same is the case with M.Ed programme for which admissions are awarded on merit in the qualifying examination or entrance test. The D.El.Ed course also maintains the policy of merit based admission depending on marks secured in the qualifying examination or entrance test based on the State Government Norms.
