Sai Institute of Management, Amritsar, was set up in 2008 in Sai Complex, Manawala, near Civil Hospital, Amritsar, Punjab, and is affiliated college. The institute is located in a 1.5 acre of land and it provides various management and technology undergraduate and postgraduate courses. With a total of 21 faculty members and having 2 current enrolments, the institute offers personal attention. Sai Institute of Management offers four full-time courses: PGDM and BBA, BCA, BHMCT MBA and BBA degree programmes aimed at various career opportunities in the management and hospitality industry.

Sai Institute of Management has a number of resources aimed at improving the student’s learning and the facilities for learning and teaching. The library contains textbooks, technical journals periodicals, reference and other reading materials capable of containing up to 150 students at one session. It has a different room with air conditioning for reference works and has subscribers to different newspapers and magazines. The computer centre has P-IV HP Compaq terminals connected in parallel through LAN which offer internet facilities round the clock through V-SAT and Lease Line. In the area of students’ hostels, the institute provides boys’ and girls’ hostels as home away from home with faciliteis such as balanced diets, safe and clean drinking water and water heating arrangements round the clock.

The discipline offered by the Sai Institute of Management focuses on several areas and all four courses are offered full time. MBA programme focuses on potential managers or owners and the BBA course is designed for owners. For those who have passion for the technology field the institute offers a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course. Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) programme is for students hoping to be employed in the hospitality industry.
