Sakshi College of Pharmacy, Kanpur Nagar, which was established in 2019 is one of the budding pharmaceutical institutes in the country. Kanpur is the location of this institution which is affiliated college opened in Bithoor, Uttar Pradesh and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi – AICTE and the Pharmacy Council of India – PCI. The ‘seat of learning’ is a small 0.5 acre extensive college recognised as providing pharmacy education for the needy. Unfortunately, there is no information on its enrollment as well as faculty, but the college has clear proclamation of training quality human resources for the pharmacist as it proffers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme. 

Sakshi College of Pharmacy also has many facilities that supplement the education of the learners in the college. A library as a knowledge base of a pharmaceutical school gives student’s required inputs in their course of study. It also has modem laboratories which are very vital for practical learning in the institution particularly in the teaching of pharmacy. To maintain up to date in the rapidly advancing technological world Sakshi College of Pharmacy has invested in good IT facilities with the achievement that students are familiar with the modern technologies available in the field. At present Sakshi College of Pharmacy provides with only a single main course of study and that D.Pharma. As a full-time programme, it takes two academic years; and offers students a broad base of pharmaceutical sciences. This college has been granted an intake capacity of 60 for this programme to ensure that the college tutored has a good student faculty ratio to enhance the outcome of learning. Over the years information concerning Part-time courses, online programmes, or certification courses may not be known though the D.Pharma programme constitutes the major academic activities of the college.

Sakshi College of Pharmacy has an easy admission procedure that any student can easily follow as stated below. The D.Pharma programme generally accepts the candidate’s completion of their 10+2 level of education along with Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology. Since the college is quite young, there is no information available regarding entrance exams accepted, scholarships or famous alumni. Having set up only in the year 2004, Sakshi College of Pharmacy is still in efforts to carve out a niche for itself in the world of pharma education. The education, well-discussed facilities, and approved programmes enable the college to equip learners for successful careers at the modern facility as pharmacy. In the process of developing the pharmaceutical institution the academic programmes are expected to increase along with the institution’s reputation in delivering education in the faculty.
