Sao Chang College, Tuensang, was established in 1973 and admits both male and female students in Nagaland, India. This affiliated college approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), provide a quality education experience and located in a 40 acres land. The college has a total of 461 students and 37 faculty studs, and thus it provides for an excellent student-teacher ratio. Sao Chang College presents two undergraduate programmes which indicates the college’s niche vision of higher education in the area.

I.T Infrastructure has a computer lab of 15 sitting capacity for training the teachers, students and the staff. The college has original student intake capacity of 461, the college has said much prefer this capacity to preserve the quality of learning.

Sao Chang College also provide hostel accommodation for students and hostels contain 30 beds each separately for boy’s and girl’s. These hostels solely funded by the faculty and well-wishers in 2017 provide accomodation in congenial atmosphere with two bedded room and roommate facility. Given that its major emphasis is promoting a positive approach to learning, alongside with the diverse facilities, it should be considered an important centre of education in the region.
