Saraswati-Dhanwantari Dental College and Hospital and Post Graduate Research Institute, Parbhani was established in the year 2007. This is one of the premier institutions for dental education in Maharashtra, India. This affiliated college is accredited to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. This institution, spread over a sprawling area of 5 acres, has approval from DCI and offers various dental courses of 1 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs. While having a total enrolment of 579 students, this college has a strength of 258 faculty members.

Saraswati-Dhanwantari Dental College offers different programs in comprehensive dental education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a total of 8 courses. At the undergraduate level, it has an intake capacity of 100 seats in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery. This institution offers, at the postgraduate level, 7 specialized Master of Dental Surgery programs, each oriented to different aspects of advanced dental care. 

The admission process into Saraswati-Dhanwantari Dental College is primarily founded on the results of national-level entrance exams. For the BDS course, admission is made on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET-UG, that provides a uniform and fair admission procedure for candidates aspiring for dental courses all over the country. Admission into the different MDS programs is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by NEET-MDS for MDS.
