Saraswati.Shikshak.Prashikshan.Mahavidyalaya, recognised in Sikar, Rajasthan, is a solely dedicated to teacher training and was set up in the year 2015. This co-educational college, affiliated with a local university, is a private college having NCTE approval for its teacher education programmes. Spread over a mere 0.25 acre of land, the institute has an intake capacity of 295 students and has 16 teaching faculties. Saraswati Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya provides a subject specific education to its students with only one programme to develop the future teachers in India.

Saraswati Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya offers one full-time course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This two-year programme has an approved enrolment of 200 students to make sure that the institute provides quality teachers. The B.Ed course has been structured to produce knowledgeable and skilled human resources to teach in schools or colleges.

The entrance of this institution depends mostly on the score obtained in the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) which is conducted an entry level test at state-level for BEd institutions in Rajasthanonly. PTET is a model test, which is a test on facts, that is, objective type test and is conducted for 3 hours containing 4 parts. Any student who meets this eligibility must pass this entrance exam for him/her to be considered for admission to the B.Ed programme. The high standards of qualification make sure that only serious minded and competent persons join the profession of teaching.
