Satara College of Engineering and Management, Satara, Maharashtra, was established in 2008. It is amongst the well-known engineering colleges in the Satara district. The college stands on a 30-acre campus and offers various programs in engineering for aspiring technologists. This affiliated college has a total intake of 104 students, along with 63 strong dedicated faculty members. SCOEM offers four B. Tech Programs that aim at empowering the students with updated knowledge and skills in their respective branches.

Excellent infrastructural facilities help in creating an overall atmosphere of learning. The library measures an area of 402 sq. ft. and is centrally located. The library is partially computerized and provides internet facilities for the benefit of the students in their academic pursuits. The Institute offers contemporary hostel facilities, for boys and girls separately, each accommodating 100 students. Amenities like well-equipped hostels with mess facilities go a long way in ensuring comfort for students coming from outside the town. The health and wellness of the students are catered for by an on-campus health center for first-aid purposes and a well-equipped gym for physical fitness. A sports facility is also managed by the college for a view of balanced outlook in education coupled with physical activity.

It has four full-time B.Tech courses: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
Out of these, the Mechanical Engineering course takes the highest, 108 students, while the other three have 54 each, adding up to 270 for all courses. The wide range of programs caters to diversified interests in engineering and industrial needs, offering a wide scope for students to pursue specializations of their choice.

Admission to SCOEM is basically based on the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main, an entrance examination for engineering conducted at a national level. This helps the college intake comprise a student base with a strong mathematical and scientific base. SCOEM has strong alumni relations with the Alumni Association, which offers regular meetups to facilitate networking and mentorship activities among currently enrolled students. With fully-fledged infrastructure, course variety, and emphasis on all-round development.
