Maharashtra, India now recognises In 1983, Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College, Thaneas affiliated college. The school has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and currently manages a vast basket of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The college currently houses 4,507 students around a 2.25-acre campus, 93% undergraduates, and 7% as postgraduate students. There is a faculty strength of 35 for the institute, with 24 different courses taught within 7 different degree programs, generally concentrated in Computer Science, Commerce, and Sciences. 

College facilities are modern and provide students with an excellent learning experience. It houses a well-stocked library containing more than 72,000 books in the social sciences, humanities, and pure sciences apart from a collection of audio-visuals materials. The college campus has a gymnasium for the physical fitness of the students and well-equipped laboratories containing all the useful materials for practical learning, along with an auditorium for events and seminars. The IT infrastructure supports the requirements of the technology, and the cafeteria takes care of the dietary requirements of students and staff. Health care facilities at the college campus also provide first aid to students and staff for medical emergencies. 

Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College presents a multitude of programmes to suit the varied interests of students. The institute has 24 full-time courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Some of the popular undergraduate programs include B.Com, B.Sc in Computer Science, BMS, or Bachelor of Management Studies, and B.Com in Accounts and Finance. Some of the postgraduate courses offered in the college include M.Com in Business Management and Advanced Accountancy, M.Sc in Botany, and M.Sc in Information Technology. The college also offers some doctoral programmes, such as Chemistry, Commerce, Physics, Economics, English, and Computer Science. 

Most of the programs provided in the college are merit-based admissions. However, individual and specific eligibility criteria for a few courses are there. Admission to B.Com and B.Sc Computer Science bases on the percentage of aggregate marks in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or other qualifying exams. Those applications under BMS and B.Sc Information Technology programme will be found as per the guidelines as set by the University of Mumbai. Every Postgraduate admission shall base on merit.
