Satyawati College evening Delhi was set up in 1973 and is one of the affiliated constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. This co-educational institution is situated at Ashok Vihar, Phase-III, Delhi and for the past forty nine years the institution has been developing new intellects. Located over a rather large area of 10 acres, the college provides a stimulating learning context for the total enrollment of 3752 students. The college comprises 72 members of faculty and this keeps the student teacher ratio ratio favorable that enables delivery of quality education.

Equipped learning facilities are also an important aspect of the college and the college boasts of modern facilities. A pictorial writing desk is seen in academic institutions where students readmost and a function library serves as an information center by availing books to students. Cafeteria on the campus has a healthy and cheap food content and is considered as the place where students love to hang around as they wait for classes to begin.

Satyawati College Evening provide 22 differentiate course under four degree programs to meet with different learners’ demands. At present, the institute offers programmes of study only for full-time undergraduate courses in arts and commerce, which are B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Economics etc. The college also has integrated degree courses for instance the BA in English and Economics, Hindi and Buddhist Studies, Economics and Mathematics among others. Each course aims at presenting the subject matter fully together with the acquisition of skills in critical thinking and analysis.

At Satyawati College Evening the admission procedure also goes in correlation of Delhi University centralised admission process. All prospective students are supposed to apply through the university website. The college mainly emphasizes the result of the qualifying examination that is 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination of the candidate.
