Satyendra Narayan Sinha Institute of Business Management, Ranchi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Satyendra Narayan Sinha Institute of Business Management, Ranchi Jharkhand was established in the year 1978. This co educational institute is an affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi – AICTE. SNSIBM occupies a very small piece of land measuring 1.06 acres and the university offers three different degrees in some specialties. 

This institute has a faculty member of strength 7, which ensures personal interaction with the students. To specifically describe SNSIBM, the institute is recognised for it focus to management and computer application and student education for the ever changing global business environment.

The SNSIBM offers many airds to support the learning process of its learners. The institute provides students with a library containing many journals and books that may be handy for learning and research. To the extent that people who have preference for sports, the college provides standard facilities for the achievement of the sporting activities of the students. As for Information Technology, perhaps the finest of all schools in Bangladesh, the institute is equipped with state-of-the-art equipments for students’ beneficial use. 

SNSIBM also exhibits operating departmental laboratories in which students can practice. An auditorium is used to hold events and seminar making students active in their extra-curricular activities on the compound. This institute caters for student’s health with the first aid facility to ensure all the students are healthy enough for learning. A canteen is important in fulfilling the culinary requirement of staff and students. For instance, SNSIBM has hostel facilities for male and female students especially for those who come from towns, hence a relaxed atmosphere.

In all, the institute has three full text courses and all of these are available at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Some of the courses include: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Out of these, MBA, the flagship course of the institute has an approved intake of 60 students at present. 

Though there is no mention of the number of students to be taken for BBA and BCA program, still, these courses can be added up to the list of existing courses of SNSIBM. The institute aims to deliver quality education to the Management and Computer Applications in order to build a competent corporate workforce.

More to it, the admission processes of SNSIBM differ based on the program offered by the institution. In the MBA program, the selectivity depends truly and almost entirely on the results scored in these test like CAT, MAT, AIATPI etc. These exams determine the abilities of the aspirants in solving different analytical as well as quantitative problems, and thus allow only worthy individuals to enter the program. 

Flexibility grows from the institute’s offer of multiple choices of test that students can sit for in the event they preferred to be tested differently. As to the admission procedures for the undergraduate programs (BBA and BCA) and although there are no specific expressed criteria they maybe adopt a merit-based system in which the institute considers the performance of the candidates in 10+2 exams.
