SAVE College of Nursing, a well–known college for nursing education situated in Tirupati was started in 2009. The co-educational college is at Vani Nagar, Avilala, near M.R.Palli Police Station, a home for the students to progress in the healthcare sector. SAVE College of Nursing is affiliated college where show approve from INC and it follows many approved program by INC. It is a small campus which covers 0.367 acres but offers adequate learning environment to the 155 students enrolled in the learning institution. The college boasts a small faculty of 8 members, which keeps the student teacher ratio low ensuring all the students get individual attention for academic success.

SAVE College of Nursing offers two comprehensive nursing programs: a four year full time B.Sc Nursing course and a two year full time Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course. Although the B.Sc Nursing program is approved for 40 intake seats, the number of expected vacancies is high enough for all would be nurses. Although the number of seats in the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course has not been mentioned but both the program has been framed in such a manner that can be accommodated with different education qualifications and aims related to the profession of nursing. These full time courses guarantee that the students get adequate theoretical knowledge and practical experience to handle the difficult tasks in the healthcare sector. 

In relation to this flexible system of admission, the following.are the different intakes at SAVE College of Nursing: For the B.Sc Nursing program, there is only the entrance way where student’s performance is used as the criterion for entrance. At the beginning, the candidates must undertake a state level university and the entrance examination. The Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course among the candidates on targets they obtained in 10+2 examination and the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM course).
