Savitri Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Jhunjhunu was started in the year 2017 It is an affiliated college situated in Baloda Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan. It is a fairly young institution and within a few years it has emerged as quite significant educational institution for women in the region. Currently, the college has three undergraduate programmes within two degree types to satisfy various academic areas of concentration. The college again proudly caters to a student strength of 100 and has a faculty of 13 members; therefore, it has a desirable student to faculty ratio which is very important to offer student centric quality education. The campus of the university is located at Pincode – 333033, Kathat, Madhya Pradesh – India which create a peaceful environment for learning.

Savitri Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya has facilities which are intended to complement the learning needs of the students in college. Central to these is the professional library, a learning resource centre equipped with a variety of books, newspapers, journals, magazines and periodicals. For science students, the college has well equipped laboratory with all necessary facilities and latest equipments which is most important for handling practical knowledge for science and technology students. The institution also appreciates the need for health and physical education, provides students with sporting facilities so as to be a well rounded institution. Accommodation to the modern learning needs of the students, the college has developed a good information technology infrastructure. Further, the college offers a transport facilities for students and staff that prevents worries of transport to and from college and thus improve accessibility to education.

Savitri Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time courses: B.Sc Medical, B.Sc Non-Medical, B.Sc Home Science & BA. These two B.Sc programmes are to admit 30 students each while the intake for the BA programme is unclear. Each one of these courses takes three years to complete, and the focus is to give the student mastery in the area of specialization. It is believed that the college opened science as well as arts for female education to enhance offering of diverse opportunities to women in that part of the country.
