SB Group of institutions was established in 1984 with an objective to impart knowledge and shape the minds of the young. The group consists of a total of 5 institutions -  SB College of Management Studies (SBCMS), SB School and College of Nursing (SBSCN), SB College of Allied Sciences, BEd and Pharmacy colleges.  Students who wish to get admission to courses offered at SB Group of institutions need to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities.  Colleges included in the SB Group of institutions are recognized and approved. SBSCN is recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka and Indian Nursing Council and approved by Karnataka State Nursing Council and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board.

Various courses offered at institutes include BBA, BCA, BCom, B.Sc (N & D), B.Sc FAD, B.Sc Interior Design, BBA (Aviation), MBA and M.Com. Candidates looking for admission to SB Group of institutions are required to meet the eligibility criteria as specified by the authorities.
