School of Business Sciences is one of the constituent schools of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) which was established in 2011. It is an affiliated constituent college in Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya and the campus size is approximately 400 acre. The school is approved by AICTE council for quality education in the field of business studies. The institute, with a team of 27 competent and committed full time faculties, aims to deliver quality management and other business disciplines.

School of Business Sciences consists of a number of facilities to help in the improvement the learning process of its students. It has well facility of comfortable and home like hostels separately for boys and girls with all required modem facilities. Sporting people will have a lot of slots available which will accommodate their talents since USTM is a pro-sport university that encourages the students to be well-rounded individuals. The physical facilities on the school include modern laboratories, an event and seminar hall, and a library that was named after Maulana Azad. Health care requirements are met with a dedicated fully functional health centre under the able guidance of a full time doctor, nurse and validity to some of the leading medical facilities in Guwahati for critical care solutions.

The institute offers two primary courses in the field of business studies: MBA as Master of Business Administration and BBA as Bachelor of Business Administration. The total intake of MBA course is 120 students, which offers students a higher learning and expert knowledge and attributes of all fields related to business management. These courses are very effective in preparing students with the needed theoretical background and the skills need for business operations in the current economy.

When admitting students to the School of Business Sciences, the admission process focuses in identifying deserving candidates who would excel in business related courses. USTM, to which the school belongs, may use the national level entrance examination to admit students to its programmes.
