About School of Engineering and Technology, Vikrant University, Gwalior
The constituent college, School of Engineering & Technology of Vikrant University, Gwalior, was established in 2009 and is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Having its campus spread over an area of 11.26 acres, the institute provides all kinds of engineering courses. The school has the ability to absorb 985 students while the faculty members are 138 as well as create conditions for quality education. Incorporating 3 degree levels, BE, M.Tech and Diploma, the institute presents 15 courses in engineering and technology disciplines.
School of Engineering & Technology holds various effective facilities to facilitate the student’s need to groom them academically and personally. The library as an integral part of learning resources centre of the institution possesses 25 thousand and more books including Indian and foreign authors and it has 65 inter national and 142 inter national journals. It maintains an online facility, an e-journal, as well as a well-lit hall to accommodate up to 150 members at one time. The IT infrastructure is strong; the facility has a well-equipped computer laboratory of the latest than 150 plus new desktop full Wi-Fi. To satisfy a wide variety of engineering interests, the School of Engineering and Technology provide a broad elective programmes. The institute also offers 7 BE programmes, 5 M.Tech programmes and 3 Diploma courses. All Business & Engineering and all M.Tech programmes are regular courses and Diploma courses are also running in the regular mode. The BE programmes are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Fire Technology and Safety Engineering. The specialisation areas offered in M.Tech include Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Production Engineering, Structural engineering and Power Systems. In addition, the institute put into practice diploma courses in Electrical, Civil and Mechanical engineering.
