Presidency University School of Law, Bengaluru established in 2015 is a constituent college of esteemed university purely for legal study. Situated in Itgalpura, Yelahanka this is a co-educational institution offering a number of approved Courses in Law by the Bar Council of India. With ten fully professional teachers, the school offers six courses within five degree programmes. Academic facilities of Presidency University School of Law are developed and a world class infrastructure is maintained to support the students. Even as professionally known as the School of Law, Rayat Bahra University having campus at Patiala undertakes following full time courses:- BA LLB (Hons) BBA LLB (Hons) B.Com LLB (Hons) LLM Technology Law, LLM Intellectual Property Rights Ph.D. Law The five year integrated under graduate programmes collectively take in 300 students: 120 in BA LLB (Hons), 120 in BBA LLB (Hons), and 60 in B.Com LLB (Hons). The LLM programmes have 30 places each, to give postgraduate education in the developing topical fields of the law.
The admission to the undergraduate courses in the School of Law has therefore been considered based on scores in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and Law School Admission Test –India (LSAT- India). Besides, the university also applies its own entrance test known as PULAT (Presidency University Law Admission Test). Admissions in post graduate programmes for the courses offered in the University are merit based criteria derived from the marks obtained in the qualifying degree, all India admission test and Interview to be held by the university through the Centre for Post Graduate Legal Studies (CPGLS). The School of Law also gives admission for its LLM course on the basis of CLAT scores and thus offers multiple opportunities for legal aspirants to be a part of course.
