Founded in the year 1995, Science College, Kokrajhar is among the top educational institutes of Bhatamari, Kokrajhar, Assam. The co-educational affiliated college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, which speaks volumes about the quality education services here. The institution has been developed with a beautiful campus area of 2.4 acres and offers a wide range of science courses in the domain of both undergraduate and graduate levels. With a total enrolment of 845 students and a faculty strength of 51, Science College, Kokrajhar, has maintained a very balanced student-teacher ratio. 

Among the facilities presented by Science College, Kokrajhar to improve its students' learning experience are a central library occupying more than 6,000 sq. It is air-conditioned, accommodates 200 students for self-study, and has a vast collection of reference books and periodicals. The library is fully computerised and has a computer laboratory which accesses e-documents and e-journals. Well-equipped laboratories in each department provide hands-on practical experience for students. An Indoor Sports Complex is sponsored by UGC and features facilities for playing table tennis and badminton, along with a fully equipped gym. Other facilities in the campus include smart class rooms with LCD projector and digital board, auditorium with 400 seating capacity, and hygienic canteen that offers subsidised healthy meals to the students and staff.

Science College, Kokrajhar offers a total of 11 courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. UG level courses include seven major B.Sc. programmes in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, and Information Technology, and a general B.Sc programme. At the PG level, this institution offers M.Sc in Botany and Zoology. This institute also offers a BPT course.
