SEA College of Engineering and Technology (SEACET) was setup in 2007, it is private college located in Bangalore, Karnataka. Affiliated to VTU, SEACET has NAAC ‘B++’ grade accreditation and nurtures students through a spectrum of bachelor’s and master’s programmes in engineering and business administration. This college occupies 45 acre campus area and offers the intake capacity of 1093 students and faculty of 129. SEACET is an independent College which is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is certified through All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute currently provides 12 programmes at three different levels of degree education, which mainly focus on engineering streams as well as management education.

SEA College of Engineering and Technology offers a large number of necessary and sufficiently neravy facilities that could improve the conditions for students’ life and their academic achievements. The infrastructure includes purposefully built boys and girls hostels that are fully furnished to cater for the needs of the students who stay in the hostel. An operational gym and various recreational and sports infrastructure including indoor and outdoor stadiums meet the students’ fitness potential and recreational requirements. The college library can also be availed as a learning resource centre where one can access all the literature and learning resources expected in his or her course of study in that college.

Institute has well equipped IT facilities for programming, computer graphics and Wi-Fi facility all over the campus. This technological infrastructure fosters academic and research UK and offers students up to date and efficient means. Like WASECT, SEACET also provides standardised laboratory with all necessary amenities including water and gas supply for practical lab works and experimental and scientific study with updated lab equipment. SEACET provides courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students, with 8 course selections for undergraduate and 4 selections for the postgraduate level. The admission process of SEACET depends on the programme of study. For the undergraduate engineering courses admissions are done directly through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) as per the act of the Government of Karnataka. A valid GATE score or Karnataka PGCET score is considered while granting admissions in M.Tech programmes to postgraduate students. They require taken an MBA entrance test like CMAT, MAT or Karnataka PGCET to get admission for their MBA. SEACET provides admission based on various national and state level entrance exams such as GATE, KCET, MAT, CMAT and Karnataka PGCET. The college also provides some scholarships to first-year and continuing students who are both outstanding in their academic performance and in financial needy, but few details of these scholarships are provided.
