The Degree College Seshadripuram; Tumakuru (SDC) is an upcoming institute of the year 2017, but within a short period it has carved a niche for it in the educational fraternity. Situated at Tumakuru, Karnataka this is an affiliated college being recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), thus providing quality education. SCD has been developed to spread in a small area of 2-acres with providing six different types of degree programs for both the undergraduate and post graduate level classes. The college eradicates congestion by having total student enrolment of 384 while the faculty comprises of 22 people,thus ensuring a good student-teacher ratio.

The undergraduate programs that are available are the three-year Bachelors of Commerce, Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA, and Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA). For post graduate courses the college offers M.Com, MCA and MBA each of two years in duration.
