Seth Moti Lal PG College is a well-known college that was set up in Jhunjhunu in the year of 1958 Rajasthan, india. This is one of the affiliated colleges that covers a broad course calendar in its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The college occupies a sizeable acreage of 6.19 acres currently a plus for any learning institution that intends to facilitate effective learning. In all the teaching programmes, the institution has a total student enrolment of 1,619 students and a faculty of twenty-seven teachers, thus a student-faculty ratio of 60:1. The college provides 13 courses in eight different degree programs thus catering for a wide demographic.

The college is very keen to ensure that quality facilities are made available and which would help in improving that learning outcome of the students. Modern library is located on two floors, with an area of 2000 sq. m. Seth Moti Lal PG College comprises varied programs of B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BCA, and other postgraduate courses like M.Sc, MA, and M.Com. The B.Sc program is in Mathematics and Biology groups while the Master of Arts program includes subjects such as English, Geography, History, Political Science and Economics. In the M.Sc program, the specializations offered are in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology specialties. The college also has a course called PGDCA for candidate who want to pursue a career in computer applications.

Seth Moti Lal PG College admits its students and follows the criteria laid down by Department of College Education, Government of Rajasthan. Admission forms must be filled up and submitted before the stated date by students aspiring to enroll for class. Submissions made after the deadline may be accepted only provisionally and for an extra charge depending on the number of open seats. The college does not accept admission forms after the final cut off dates and this has helped in tidying up the institution’s record management system. This makes the admission process more fair and properly arranged for any candidate willing to join any respective college or university.

The college offers outstation female students optimal residential facilities with in the college campus itself. The girls hostel facilities include; computer room that is fitted with internet that runs 24 hours, games/ sports- indoor and outdoor, study room with newspapers and magazines and a common room that has entertainments.
