Seth Tek Chand College of Education, Kurukshetra, a reputed teacher training college of Haryana state in India, was established in the year 2005. This co-educational college is duly recognised and approved by the NCTE, a government of India statutory body. The 4-acre area comprises a spacious campus; its total enrolment reaches 586 students, and there are 29 teachers. The institute offers three courses in education such as B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.Ed—all of which are regular courses. 

There are several amenities within the college for the students which offer a comfortable and good learning environment. Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls to make out-station students feel safe and comfortable. The campus holds a well-stocked library, which functions as the main resource centre. The admission process of Seth Tek Chand College of Education is purely based on merit which looks at the marks in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows the rules drafted by the State Government, the U.T. administration, and the affiliated University. In the case of the B.Ed course, the college is accepting the students according to the marks obtained in the qualifying degree and the entrance examinations, which is desirable for the course. The M.Ed course also is on similar lines, where the performance of the candidate at the B.Ed level will carry weight. Since it is an entry-level course, the main credential that the D.Ed course takes into consideration is the marks scored in the higher secondary examination.
