Sh. Kanhaiya Lal College of Teacher Education, Dholpur, is a NCTE-approved affiliated college. The institute has three regular courses on two degree programmes. The admission process of Sh. BA B.Ed: This is an integrated four-year course with approved enrolment of 100 students. BA B.Ed admission process is merit-based, taking marks secured in the qualifying examination and the entrance test into consideration. While admitting students, they are required to mention their choice of subjects for discipline options and pedagogic specializations. These choices are allotted as per the order of merit and availability.

B.Sc B.Ed: The B.Sc B.Ed programme, like the BA B.Ed course, is also an integrated four-year programme with an intake capacity of 100 students. Merit-based admissions are considered by taking into consideration the marks scored in the entrance examination as well as the qualifying examination. Discipline options and pedagogic specializations should be specified by students at the time of admission for their choice subjects, which would be allocated subject to merit and availability.
