GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): It is a three-year diploma nursing program. Candidate selection is normally based on merit for admission into GNM courses according to his/her 10+2 achievements in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Some are subject to their own GNM entrance test.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: This two-year course caters to registered nurses who have completed their General Nursing and Midwifery course. Admission is mostly based on an individual's GNM performance and experience. Some of the institutes may require a minimum of one-year work experience after GNM.

M.Sc. Nursing: This is a two-year postgraduate degree program. Admission eligibility for M.Sc. Nursing is generally determined through attaining a B.Sc. in Nursing, scores from an entrance test held by the concerned institute, and experience in the nursing field for some institutes.
