Shaheed Bhagat Singh Polytechnic for Engineering, Yamunanagar, came into existence in 2010 as a co-educational institution set up in the heart of Haryana. The affiliation and approval of this college are from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The college is built in a small area of 5.12 acres in Village Rajpura and is fast moving ahead towards providing students with a more focused learning environment to become aspiring engineers. The institute aims at imaparting quality technical education to students from all walks of life with a highly experienced faculty strength of 41.

The polytechnic has a fair share of facilities, all of which are oriented toward making students' lives more comfortable in pursuit of academic growth. These involve well-spaced boys' and girls' hostels that ensure students who board within the campus are able to live in comfortable conditions. Presently, four full-time diploma courses with an intake capacity of 60 students each bring the total seat capacity to 240 for all programs. The said courses, therefore, are going to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge in views to better prepare them for successful engineering careers.
