Shaikh College of Engineering and Technology, Belgaum (SCET) is an established college which was started in the year 2009. Situated in Bhootramanahatti, Belgaum, Karnataka this is one of the affiliated colleges that started fulfilling the dreams of young engineers over a decade ago. The accommodation of SCET is large, covering 11 acres through compound making it a perfect place to learn and develop. It has a total enrolment of 326 students who are served by a colleges’ faculty of 35 strong members. SCET offers 4 full-time BE programme, each of which has been formulated to prepare graduates for the new world of technology and innovation.

SCET boasts of a host of facilities in support of learning and the total development of the student. The college is catering separate Hostel facilities for boys and girls so that out side stations students can easily live in the college. Equipped with a stock of books and journals, a library plays the part of an informative centre while laboratory resources help to realise practical experiences at every department. The campus also has facilities for seminars and auditors; also for the taking of refreshments; and for first aid within the health centre. For the sport lovers and those interested in doing exercise and all related to body muscular build up, SCET has it all, a gym and other sporting amenities. The college maintains a conducive communication network including internet connection in all the college building and transport facilities for students and staff who use public transport.

SCET offers four undergraduate programmes that are centrally positioned around the Bachelor of Engineering degree. These full-time courses span four years each and cover key engineering disciplines: Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

The admission procedure for the Shaikh College of Engineering and Technology is made simple and easier for all students interested. It can be assumed that students who would like to enter engineering colleges of Karnataka must take scores of the state or national level entrance examinations.
