Shamsher Bahadur Saxena College of Law, Rohtak, was established in the year 2012 at Makrauli Kalan, Haryana, and it is one of the premiere legal education institutions. This affiliated college, with the approval of the Bar Council of India, provides a concentrated regime in its sprawling campus of 11 acres for pursuing legal studies at the undergraduate level. The total student enrolment is 180, and the faculty strength is 13, which proves very conducive for aspirant legal professionals. The institute currently offers two holistic law programes: a 3-year LLB and a 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons), designed to meet the varied academic interests in the field of law.

The college further boasts of its several state-of-the-art facilities, which help enrich the learning experience of its students. There is a well-stocked library that serves as the knowledge hub for a plethora of information and comes with an amalgamation of various books on law, AIR Manuals, ILR, journals, and Supreme Court cases. There are a total of two full-time courses available at Shamsher Bahadur Saxena College of Law, both duly approved by the Bar Council of India. The course BA LLB is of 5 year duration and LLB is of 3 years. Each programme has an intake of 120 approved seats, hence aggregating to an intake of 240 students. The programmes are designed to give thorough understanding of the legal principles, procedures and practices that shall enable the students to meet the challenges in the legal arena successfully.
