One of the most prestigious institutions in the field of education is the Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Pharmacy, which was established in 2009. This affiliated Gandhinagar-based college has undoubtedly made a place in the field of pharmaceutical education. The 40-acre campus of SVBIP is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and maintains a high standard of quality in education. These programs are oriented toward different aspects of career aspirations related to pharmacy. SVBIP offers one undergraduate awardee, two postgraduate awardees, and two specializations at the master's level, that is M.Pharma Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Quality Assurance. These all are full-time courses, therefore offering a more mature style of learning. The intake capacity for the B.Pharma program is 60 students, while each of the M.Pharma specializations offers an intake of 15 students.

Decisions about admissions to SVBIP are based on the selection of the most meritorious for admission through a recognized entrance examination. Candidate shall be admitted in B.Pharma based on the qualifying examination to be passed by the candidate who shall have passed the examination within Gujarat State from any recognized Institution or Passed an examination from any recognized Board from outside Gujarat. For admission to all the upcoming postgraduate students in M. Pharma, the candidates are eligible to have a valid score of either the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or the Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Gujarat PGCET) as per the norms of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses.
