One of the new establishments is Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mangaluru, founded in 2019 focused on the education of Ayurveda. Located in Devinagar, Talapady, Mangalore, this affiliated college has only one course, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The institute is situated in a 7 acre area and it is able to accommodate 60 students enrolled in this institute and it has 16 faculty members. It is a co-educational college which improves the capacity of accepting students from different background giving a diverse environment to develop practitioners in Ayurvedic.
