Sharada Vidyaniketan B.Ed. College, Manvi, was established in 2015 as co-educational institution promoting the interest of teacher education. Situated in Sharada Nagar, Manvi Taluk Raichur district of Karnataka, this affiliated college has got the recognition of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Situated on a modest 2-acre campus, the college offers two full-time courses. Facilitating qualification includes the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Education (D.Ed). It has a total student intake of 200 and as such, the faculty strength is limited to 12 thus making sure an optimal tutor to trainee ratio in education.

Sharada Vidyaniketan B.Ed. College has several learning facilities that are considered to be useful in improving the students' learning process. Central to such is a library section containing over seven and half thousand volumes across all the discipline regions of educational training. National and international journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, maps, educational surveys, reports and NCTE publications are conveniently available at the library. In preparing its students for practical experience, the college has adequate science and psychology laboratories. The science lab includes essential equipment, chemicals and specimens as well as the psychological lab contains tests, books, manuals and equipments regarding different courses of secondary school.

Sharada Vidyaniketan B.Ed. College offers two primary courses, a two years full time B.Ed programme with 100 intake capacity and two years full time D.Ed programme with 50 intake capacity. These are two in total, both at the undergraduate level and a student intake of 150 in both. This focus on these core teacher education programmes provides for special preparation of teachers and future educators at the college.

The admission process of Sharada Vidyaniketan B.Ed. College is student friendly and was developed according to the instructions from the government of the state and the university the college is affiliated with. Regarding the B.Ed programme, admission is given on merit, keeping in consideration marks secured in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination.
