Sharda Sadan College of Education; Sikar was started in the year 2008, it is one among the noted teacher education institution located in Mandholi, Sikar district of Rajasthan. This Government College is Co-educational college sponsored with approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college takes a total 250 students and has a faculty of 16 members offered three full time courses in education. The institute is devoted to develop quality education in the teacher training courses to ug level and integrated courses. The college is located on Khetri Road and this position is well strategic in ensuring that students from various part of the college can easily access the college.

The college has developed several amenities that would improve the learning environment of the students. The library is an important infrastructure that supports academic learning, and currently contains 4,869 books among 1,387 titles: encyclopedias, textbooks, and reference books. It's equipped with an OPAC facility and remains open from 9:From 00 AM to 5:30 PM on working days. 

IT infrastructure is well developed with a computerized laboratory of connecting 25 computers for the purpose of ICT based teaching learning. To support physical education and recreation the college has varied facilities of sports namely, badminton, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, football and a cemented cricket pitch. It also has adequately ventilated class rooms, departmental laboratories, a health center with first aid facilities and fully air-conditioned seminar and conference hall for presentations among other academic purposes.

The courses offered by Sharda Sadan College of Education are three in total and all of the courses are full time. These include the two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program and two integrated four-year programs: BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed. The B.Ed program which is the flagship course of the institute and approved list of 100 intakes. Although the specific figures are not stated regarding its intake, the integrated programs to the college total enrolment percentage of 200 students. These programs are aimed at the preparation of qualified individuals who will become effective teachers in education settings, and fill gaps in scholars’ practical understanding by synthesing academic and professional education.

Admission requirements, therefore, differ according to the program of choice in Sharda Sadan College of Education. Admission into the B.Ed program is mostly done through intervention examinations organized by the state and the institutions.
