Shaswat Institute of Teachers Education Ranchi was established in 2013, is an affiliated college offering teacher education program. This college is co-educational secondary school, situated in Hutup, near Ranchi Gosala Campus and it is approved from National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE). It is a compact campus occupying 0.65 acres of land to provide value education to the interested individuals majoring in teaching. The institute currently has 179 students whereas the faculty staff strength is 16, which means that the institute has a right student faculty ratio that assures quality education.

The institute has a variety of special amenities that is intended to improve learning environment of its learners. A good library must contains more than 3000 books and 1000 titles for the top academic uses. The facilities include a computer lab equipped with Internet connection, and science and psychology labs, educational technology lab. 

In the field of sports for the purpose of giving children balanced development the institute provides provisions for sports like cricket, football, and badminton. An auditorium with a seating of 200 is available for different purposes and is used to host various programs and activity. Students welfare is also catered for with a health center that has first aid facilities, canteen and transport for the car riders.

As a principal and chief executive of Shaswat Institute of Teachers Education college, the institution offers the following full time course, Bachelor of Education [B. Ed]. This course of study is spread over two years and has an internally set admission capacity of one hundred students, as the institute aims to train qualified teachers. The B.Ed course is also to prepare students for a professional teaching practice that blends the acquisition of the knowledge base of teaching with practice in classrooms.

The admission is given to the students on the merit-base as per Jharkhand Government rule of reservation. The candidates before they join the teaching service are selected on the basis of merit hence attracting, recruiting and retaining capable and dedicated teachers. If the reserved seats do not get filled for any reason, then those are made available to the OBC candidates and later for the general candidates only in order to keep up the policy of equal admission. Indeed the organization has a structured way of admitting students as well as training them in an effort to churn out quality educators.
