Located in Dabhoi, Gujarat, Sheth MNC College of Education, Vadodara was started in the year 1970 as a respected institution for undertaking teacher education. This co-educational college is an affiliated institution approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. The campus spreads over 3.95 acres and emphasises quality education for its aspiring teachers. At present, the student and faculty strength are 89 and 6, respectively. With these many students and faculty members, Sheth MNC College of Education offers an intimate atmosphere. The college delivers its educational service through its B.Ed course, thereby undergoing an initiative to raise a fleet of future educators.

The institution has numerous facilities that help to improve the learning process for all students. It has a library, which is a knowledge centre space that stacks approximately 10,000 books on the subjects of education, general studies, and references. It also subscribes to about 30 periodicals, which include some specialised educational journals of repute, therefore keeping the students updated with all the developments in the field. The laboratory of the college is well equipped with modern instruments and teaching aids that help the trainees to perform experiments based on the science subjects for 8th, 9th and 10th standard students. In this regard, for integrating technology, IT infrastructure of the college consists of an IT laboratory having 25 latest computers, and a conference room with LCD projector that allows the adoption of contemporary method of teaching.

The courses available in Sheth MNC College of Education are only one in number, which is B.Ed course. This two-year full-time course has a sanctioned intake of 100 seats, thereby catering to a large number of students aspiring to take up teaching as a profession. At the same time, the B.Ed. programme provides the right blend of theory and practice in education so that successful careers in teaching could be launched from this institution. 

The admission process in Sheth MNC College of Education is merit-based and follows the state government and affiliated university policies. Applicants are selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
