Affiliated college Shivaji Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Rewa started in 2015 is present in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. It is a co-educational college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to show its quality in training teachers. Spread over an area of 0.647 acres the college offers admission to a total of 197 students and faculty strength of 15 members. Teacher education through the B.Ed is the only course offered by Shivaji Shiksha Mahavidyalaya.

The college has installed various facilities through which the learning outcome of the students can be boosted. It asserts its role as a source of information and learning materials to the students as a library do offer a large collection of educational sources. Adequate laboratories, meet the practical needs of the training of teachers, which enables students to practice what is taught. 

The college also values modern technology hence its great IT support; preparing teachers of the future generation for the digital world. For all round development of students, various sports facilities are constructed so as to develop physical fitness personality and team spirit among students. There exists an auditorium for use in various events within the institution and seminars to enhance a lively academic environment.

About the institute: The institute has only one full time program which is Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) aimed at producing professionally trained teachers. 

This course is offered for two years where the college has the capacity to admit one hundred student teachers that shows the college’s capability of producing many numbers of educators for the future each year. The B.Ed course of Shivaji Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has been designed to provide students with the professional skills, content knowledge and practical knowledge for developing their careers in teaching profession.

Shivaji Shiksha Mahavidyalaya Rewa’s admission for the B.ED Program is a statutory process and the aspirants have to follow marks criterion. The college implements the admission policy framed by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh and the University to which it is affiliated. The basis of admissions can be either the marks scored in the qualifying examination and or an entrance test. It also maintains other selection methods that may be allowed by the government or the university to the college.
