Established in 1978, the Sholapur Social Association's Arts and Commerce College has become one of the superior educational organisations located in Solapur, Maharashtra. Affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and accredited, it provides various arts and commerce programmes to its dissimilar grade of students. The college has a regular enrolment of 906 students on a very small 2-acre campus. The college has an academic faculty of 14 highly experienced faculties. The undergraduate student body that the college comprises of has a gender distribution of 62% male and 38% female students. The college offers four different courses in its curricula with specialisations on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

The Sholapur Social Association's Arts and Commerce College aims to have an environment which is a complete learning atmosphere for the students. Institutions are provided with the various facilities to ensure academic and personal developments of the students. Four full-time courses are made available from this college alone. Those comprise three main undergraduate courses and one postgraduate course. The duration for the undergraduate programmes is three years, and the postgraduate course is a duration of two years. Further, a Ph.D. in Urdu is also offered within the college premise to show its inclination towards higher education and research.
