Shree MS Chauhan Mahavidyalaya, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh is one of the leading institute, imparting education since 2005. Located in Hari Darshan Nagar close to Sagun Marriage Hall this college for both boys and girls caters to a wide range of under graduate and post graduate programs. The institute has got the recognition of NCTE –National Council for Teacher Education and has established its own recognition in the higher learning institutions especial in the field of teacher education. A total student intake of 2,595 students makes the college a cocoon of vibrant with academic prowess among educationist and scholars. 

The college has a range of facilities that are in place in order to help improve the learning environment. Sport lovers will be able to freely indulge themselves as there are multiple facilities for both indoor and outdoor games along with state – of – art gym facility. The college is well equipped having a fully functional library containing books, national/international journals and reputed magazines, all the resources meeting the parameter of NCTE. The four computers and good number of desks also make it comfortable to write papers, and its reading area can accommodate 100 students. To accommodate students’ practical applications of what they learn in class, the college provides departmental laboratories. There is also a language laboratory within the institution, this is important in enhancing the communication skills of the students with the use of sophisticated sound and visual system. Other facilites includes an auditorium for conducts of events and seminars, a health facility with an OPD, cafeteria for students and employees as well as members of staff. 

The College offers a total of five full time courses of which four are teacher education courses and one course in Physical education. The course offerings include three undergraduate programs: Among these are the Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and two post graduate programs offered at the institution namely Masster of Arts in Education and Master of Arts in English. Of these programmes, the B.Ed program which stands out was established with an approved intake capacity of one hundred to meet the college’s emphasis on teacher training. Unfortunately, details of the total number of graduates could not be obtained, but the current student enrollment stands at 2,595 students; which forms a large academic family.
