Shri Ram Mulkh College of Education, Panchkula, was established in the year 2006 as an affiliated college in Haryana, India. This is a co-educational institute which lies in the breath-takingly beautiful, virgin sub-Himalayan range of the Shivaliks. The National Council for Teacher Education also approves this college. The college covers an area of 1 acre and caters to 376 students enroled in the three streams of special education. As the college established in 2004, Shree Ram Mulkh College of Education Panchkula is proud of being a co-educational institution that collaborates with Kurukshetra University and is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The applicants who want to pursue various education programs are required to get admission based on merit as prescribed by the relevant policies of the state, UT administration, and that of the university.

The general admissions cycle coincides with the academic cycle starting August-September. An entrance test is required for admission to undergraduate degree courses like B.Ed. either through the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or one of those given by the particular universities. Broadly speaking, eligibility criteria for B.Ed. get fulfilled with a bachelor's degree in any discipline, qualifying for a minimal of 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST).

However, for the PG level for the M.Ed. course, admissions are purely based on merit on qualifying exams or an entrance examination result or through other selection procedures, as may be prescribed by the concerned authorities.

D.Ed. (Diploma in Education): The D.Ed. Program consists of an admission seat capacity of 50. Admission is purely based on merit that considers marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The state government policies, UT administration, and the affiliated university govern these selections. This is a two-year diploma program.
