Shri Bhagwabdas Todi College Sikar, which was established in 1965, is one of the biggest educational institutes located at Lachhmangarh, Sikar Distt. In Rajasthan. This mixed college which is located on a large piece of land that occupies 50 acres has been in the service of the academy for more than fifty years. Recognised by NAAC, the college has education covering various undergraduate and post graduate levels. Altogether the institution takes 2,108 students and has 26 faculty members, which creates a favourable environment in the process of education. The college hosts 9 courses in 5 degree programmes to provide a good choice for every student with different educational and/or vocational preferences.

It has the following campus facilities developed to improve students’ experience in the college. Its well-facilitated sports complex can accommodate basketball, football, badminton, TT, kabaddi and cricket etc Adroit college team competes in intercollegiate tournaments. The library is resourceful and includes a remarkable array of books approximately 40,000 books of Encyclopedia Britannica and Oxford Publications, etc. Modern laboratories exist for different departments so that students can get practical experiences. The college also has state of art information technology facility, canteen facility, guest house and first-aid health care service. Shri Bhagwandas Todi College to cater the students’ varying educational inclinations provides a number of courses. They have nine full time courses at the institution, the under graduate and post graduate levels. At the undergraduate level the favourites are B.A which comprises 540 students, B.Com with 600 students and B.Sc which has only 120students. The postgraduate courses include: M.A Geography, M.A English and M.Sc in Zoology/ Mathematics/ Chemistry / Botany – all having 40 seats each. These many choices enable student to properly choose their specialties and properly prepare themselves for future professions.

Admission in Shri Bhagwandas Todi College is mainly supported by merit and an entrance exam so that deserving students can apply for their desired programmes. For any of the undergraduate programmes such as the B.A., B.Com, and B.Sc a direct admission is offered with the applicant having to sit for their 12th standard examinations. In a similar manner for post graduate courses as M.A. in Geography and English, M. Sc. in different subjects etc., the admission is granted on the basis of the performance of the candidate of the last examination which he/ she passed.
