Shri Bhrigu Baba Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Dhamupur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, is not very old institution which was founded in 2015. This women college is functional to provide excellent education in the stream of teacher training. Spread over an area of 1.462 acres of land the college has been recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which identifies the college as per national norms for teacher education. At the moment, there are 88 learners enrolled at the college while the faculty comprises 8 staff members which make learning personal and effective. 

This college boasts of setting up various facilities to improve the learning processes of its learners. The library and reading room make provision for student study and research besides offering materials relevant to the curriculum. Laboratory facilities for practical learning are also provided where student can practice more in their lines of specialty. The college also understands the role of technology in present day learning process and has put measures into place including installations of IT facilities such as computers with a backup generator in a bid to afford a backup in instances of power down. For spiritual and mental growth, the institution has installed sports equipment with playfield and other relevant amenities. Moreover, an auditorium sometimes is used as a hall for specific meetings, seminars, cultural events, and others which creates an active students’ life on campus. 

Shri Bhrigu Baba Mahila Mahavidyalaya currently offers one primary course: The B. Ed programme for the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) program. This course can be studied on a full-time basis over two years and is aimed at preparing the would-be teachers for their futures professions. The college has an annual capacity of admitting 100 students only to this program since the management aims at ensuring that student to teacher ratios are small. This niche product enables the institution to focus its effort and achievements in producing competent teacher educators.
