The Shri CB Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital was set up in 2004 in Dharwad, Karnataka, and is reputed among students and faculty. This affiliated college is also approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) and offers education in Ayurveda alone. Located on a fairly large land area of 14 acres, the college provides an appropriate environment for education as well as clinical practice of the Indian System of Medicine. This institute, along with the total student intake of 233 faculty of 42 brains, provides personal attention along with quality education. The college at present has only one course that it awards the degree for: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery or BAMS for short.
The institute also has an array of physical facilities, which provide complements to the learning achievement and wellbeing of students. Our college library has, of course, stocked up with Indian medical books—both the traditional and the current—thereby giving students a huge reservoir of knowledge that they can touch. To support its practical training opportunities, the college has functioning laboratories connected to different subjects of the Ayurvedic program. This establishment also has an on-campus hospital with 60 beds, which provides the students with a good clinical experience. To complement their education, the college provides and maintains sports facilities, a gym, and an auditorium for games, events, and other learning activities. The institute has provided specific hostels for male and female students with a view to making the students comfortable as they do their studies from different parts of the country.
The Shri CB Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital today has been providing only one full-time programme and it is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This extensive course takes six years and covers all the areas of knowledge and skills required for adequate prevention, diagnostic, and therapeutic work in Ayurvedic medicine. This college has an approved capacity of 50 seats for this programme hence making the admission process competitive but not restrictive. The flow of graduates of the programme in the latest year is not stated; however, the college has the enrollment capacity of 233 students across different years, incessantly producing aspiring Ayurvedic practitioners.
At Shri CB Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, the requirement for admission is that it meets the merit standard and has a structured admission process. According to the MCI rules, BAMS aspirants have to clear the NEET for them to secure a seat in the university. As a national-level examination, this makes it certain that the college takes students who have a good background in sciences coupled with passion in Ayurveda. Although the exact admission dates are not mentioned, the candidates should have to wait for the NEET examination date and further counselling sessions. This is evident by the college admitting only a select number of students following strict requirements in order to produce the next generation of qualified Ayurvedic practitioners.
Shri CB Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital has its primary aim in the provision of Ayurvedic education and health care facilities. Its affordability of cost and its credible recognition of age-old traditional values will be an added advantage for a potential Ayurvedic medical student. Its approach, which combines academic education with practical training, together with up-to-date facilities, gives the student the ideal preparation in the practice of Ayurveda.

Hello there,
Hope you are doing well . See it is difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year depending on various factors like no. of students appeared in the exam, paper difficulty, overall performance of the students, seat matrix and etc. But we can have an idea based on last year's cut-offs . As you mentioned your category to be UR, its not possible to get a government MBBS seat with an AIR above 2 lakhs through All India counselling. Now ,from your profile it's visible that you belong from Karnataka and there in 2020 the cut-off marks were 540 with a closing AIR of 56102. Hence through the state quota counselling also there seems no possibility that you will get a government MBBS seat.
But you can try for some private or management quota seats or also for some other courses like BDS and Ayush. To know further about the above mentioned courses and your possibility to get admission, you can visit the link given below:
