Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Omerga: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Omerga was established in the year 1959. It is an affiliated college in Osmanabad in the state of Maharashtra. The college has a large campus area of 33 acres and offers different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The total enrollment of students for all programs taken together is 2,804, and it has a faculty strength of 21. 

The college offers an atmosphere beneficial for learning. The institute is affiliated by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council,therefore, quality education is something of concern to them. It has a 1,650 boys and 1,111 girls balanced sex ratio with 28 courses spread over 7 streams. The clipping files of newspapers are available in the library, and it also offers a book bank facility, besides providing digital facilities to the staff and students. A first-aid facility is provided by the health center, and a fully developed gymnasium caters to the students as well as the faculty to maintain their body fitness. The college provides sports facilities for all students, which makes good physical development and team spirit possible. It is well-furnished with very good IT infrastructure, an auditorium for events and seminars, and well-maintained laboratories for practical learning. Comfortable accommodation facilities are provided in the boys' and girls' hostels for outstation students. It also offers a canteen facility that meets the daily requirements of employees and students, a guest house for visiting faculty members and family members of students. 

Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College offers 28 courses in full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At the masters' degree level, the university has specialized programs in every field. 

The admission to most of the UG and PG programs offered by Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College is merit-based. NET/SET/PET is the entrance test which is decided for admission to Ph.D. programmes. Students outside the State of Maharashtra are admitted only against vacancies and as per norms fixed by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Foreign and NRI students have to take permission from the concerned university authorities.
