The Shri Dattakrupa Shaikshnik and Krishi Gramvikas Pratishthans College of Education Ahmednagar, was set up in the year 2005 and situated in Ghargaon, Maharashtra. This college for both males and females is co-educational and is located in a 2.45 acre land and is an affiliated NCTE college. The institute has a student strength of 225 and employs 19 faculties where the 3 education degree programs are presented. The courses offered in this college reflects its policy to deliver quality education for the students and it offers various programmes such as B.ED, M.ED, D.EL.ED for the students those who want to be a teacher at various stages.

The second year has the largest number of enrolments in an area that marks the foundation of teacher education; the B.Ed programme has the highest admission capacity with one hundred seats. The M.Ed program that is valid for advanced studies in education has a sector capacity of 50. The colleges for management also comprise 50 seats of D.El.Ed program which is designed for the elementary education.
