Shri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya, Raebareli: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya of Raebareli was established in the year 2001. It is an affiliated college based in Uttar Pradesh, India. This institute, located at Chandrabhushanganj, Ghorwara, has served the purpose of enlightening young minds with quality education for more than two decades. The college campus area covers 5.36 acres and provides congenial atmospheres for learning and growth. It has a total enrolment of 348 students and a faculty strength of 24, thereby having a very congenial student-to-teacher ratio to ensure good individual attention and quality education. 

Many facilities to support the learning process are available at the college. Libraries well stocked with over 2,600 books are there for different subjects. The library is replete with a variety, containing 1,110 Hindi books, 427 English books, 374 Economics books, 206 Political Science books, 133 Ancient Indian History books, 128 Education books, and 300 Environmental Studies books. Such a wide range contributes greatly to being a very useful aid to students for pursuing his academic interests. Sports facilities provided under one roof in the college campus inculcate physical fitness along with team spirit among the students. The college also organises transportation facilities and provides easy access for students and staff. Shri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya has spent money on excellent IT infrastructure with a view to enabling the students to acquire skills of modern technologies. The auditorium on the college campus provides a shining centre for a variety of programmes, including event seminars and cultural activities that contribute immensely to the campus life of the students. 

With respect to academic programmes, at present, there is one key course that Shri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya provides, which is the Bachelor of Arts programme. Although there is a lack of specification or emphasis on what BA programme it offers, the programme that it offers students is most likely filled with humanities and social sciences judging from the variety of books in the library. These become available to students in a full-time, three-year comprehensive under-graduate course. The college has an authorised student intake of 348, which reflects its current enrolment; an indication that the steadiness in demand for the educational services it offers.

As the admission is made on the basis of Merit the process of Shri Gandhi Mahavidyalaya, Raebareli, will be the same as that of the affiliated colleges of Uttar Pradesh.  More than this, the effort by the college to provide variety of facilities to its students even after being such a small college certainly proves that it is wholly committed to the idea of creating a learned environment in its fold.
