Shri Guru Harkrishan College of Education, Jagadhri, established in 2006, spread over 3 acres, is located in Sector-24, Rakshak Vihar, Yamunanagar, Haryana. The National Council for Teacher Education has approved this institute for its two specialized courses in education. Keeping the faculty strength at 13 with a student enrollment of 275 ensures an intimate learning atmosphere. 

There are state-of-the-art facilities that aid the process of learning at this institution. The admission procedure to Shri Guru Harkrishan College of Education is merit-based, depending upon the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination. The policies adopted by the State Government, UT Administration, and the affiliated University are followed in the college. Admission to the B.Ed. Program is done on the basis of their performance in these assessments so that the most eligible and committed budding teachers get admitted to the institution. The admissions for the D.El.Ed. program are also made on merit, as per the policies of the state government and UT Administration.
