Shri Guru Nanak Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kheri: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Guru Nanak Kanya Mahavidyalaya was set up in 1997 and it is affiliated with University of Lucknow. The college campus is situated in Gola Gokaran Nath, Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. This school is situated on three-acres and aims at making sure it offers quality education to the students it admits. This college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and therefore, bent on upholding high education quality level. At present, this college has 603 students and 18 members of faculty teaching students across a wide spectrum of academic specialisations. The institution offers 5 courses under 3 degree programmes to try and meet the different interests of those wanting to further their education as well as their employment needs. 

The college has several amenities intended to support the learning environment and the physical development of the students. This library that possess approximately 2000 textbooks, operates a book service which enables students have indispensable course texts for a certain number of hours, for the benefits of all students. Regarding physical fitness and recreation, Shri Guru Nanak Kanya Mahavidyalaya provide for sports amenities and a gym. There is also a campus auditorium for events, seminars and serves a centre for academic and cultural activities. Departments with laboratories meet the practical lessons requirements, and a health facility with first aid services, taking care of students’ health. The college canteen is a common facility for students and staff of the college where they get opportunity to share their ideas. The college offers hostel accommodation to female students who intent to stay in the college from various distant areas for learning. 

It offers a total of 5 full time courses spread over different classes of study such as undergraduate classes having offerings of BA., B.Ed and post graduate classes having offerings of MA Home Science, M.A. Sociology, M.A.Hindi. The programme, especially B.Ed course, is important and accredited intake capacity of the programme is 50. The college total student intake quota was 603 meaning that it was able to maintain reasonable class sizes for effective learning.

In Shri Guru Nanak Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kheri, the admission of the student differs from the course they intend to apply for. In case of B.Ed programme, the students’ admissions are merit based whereby the marks achieved in the previous qualifying examination as well as the entrance examination will be considered. The college therefore structure its admission policies with those of the state government, U.T. Administration and the affiliated University. Concerning accreditation, the college has been approved by NCTE, which adds to the college many facilities that make the college readily suitable for college applicants in Uttar Pradesh seeking college education.
