Shri Krishna Polytechnic College Kota was established in the year 2014 under RKDF Kota, recognized under Rajasthan University Kota. This technical institution, established under the recommendation of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), focuses on excellence in engineering education. The college occupies a small area of 2.5 acres of land, therefore providing direct focus for all the students. As of this writing, the college has only 33 students with a 16-member faculty that allows the college to uphold a favorable student-professor ratio that provides adequate attention focused on each learner.

The college has diverse facilities intended to improve the learning environment of the learners. The library, with all modern and relevant literature for educational and research purposes, is well equipped. For those who love exercise, the college provides an opportunity for them to engage in sporting activities in order to balance study and sports. A feature of each department is that laboratories are provided, which gives students an opportunity to develop practical experience. 

Also present is an auditorium for events such as seminars and other collegiate activities, affirming a dynamic college spirit. First-aid facilities equipped with a health centre guaranteeing students’ health; a cafeteria—the place for taking a break and communication. As for members of the faculty and students’ families, the college provides guest houses and waiting rooms. Of particular importance is the college that offers a girl’s hostel to enable out-of-town girls comfortable accommodation in a secure facility.

The Shri Krishna Polytechnic College also limits the scope of its diploma courses in different fields of engineering to some of the most popular ones in the current market. There are three full-term diploma courses currently taught at the college, and these courses take three years to complete. The courses are Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil. It will also offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diplomas, and certificate programmes that are intended to prepare students with knowledge in their area of specialisation. The total approved intake for all courses is 150 and there is much capacity for the students who dream of being engineers.
